1948 Albany Senators ticket stub vs Philadelphia
This 1948 Albany Senators ticket stub vs Philadelphia Athletics is a delightfully strange one. Strange in that MLB teams used to play exhibitions in the middle of the season, and stranger still the ticket was re-purposed for an entirely different game involving a different MLB team. It looks like this was reused for a game against the New York Giants on Wednesday July 13, 1949 instead of the original game slated against the Philadelphia A’s on August 21, 1948. The Giants had a three day break in their 1949 season from July 11-13. (It’s delightful because it’s a gorgeous die cut job!)
