The Colorado Rangers lasted just 2 seasons in the highly erratic IHL with one of those seasons the team went under the Denver Rangers moniker. The Rangers made the playoffs both of those seasons, but bowed out in the early rounds. Legend Pete Mahovlich coached during the 88-89 season.
