This 1939 NCAAF Virginia Tech at Virginia Military Institute ticket stub is odd in that the stub shows only Thanksgiving Day 1939. Turns out that was not the universally agreed upon day – Franklin Roosevelt decreed the official day of Thanksgiving to be Nov 23.
