Live Aid 1985 Ticket Stub from Philadelphia

The Live Aid 1985 Ticket Stub from Philadelphia represents one of the two most famous rock concerts of all time.

Bob Geldof and Midge Ure envisioned a benefit concert to combat the famine in Ethiopia. As the plan unfolded, 2 concerts were to be staged – one in Philadelphia and the other in London. The Philly show began at 9:00 AM, timed to coincide with the London Performance.

Paul McCartney, Elton John, U2, The Who and most famously, Queen, took the stage in London.

Run DMC, Crosby Stills and Nash, Beach Boys, Pretenders, Tom Petty, the Cars, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan and Keith Richards performed in Philadelphia.
