Holy Cow – Baseball Clergy Passes
Baseball teams across America have (or had) a policy of offering free tickets to local members of clergy. While the practice had dwindled some in recent years, at least three MLB teams continue the program. Those teams are the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals.
The policy was far more widespread in the past. Take a look at the clergy passes from minor league teams going back to the 1940’s, teams from St. Paul to San Diego issued them yearly.
