Man, I saw the Mariners a lot in 1993.

According to Baseball Reference, Dave Fleming got the win for the Mariners. Dave Stewart was charged with the loss. Ted Power notched his fifth save.

Rickey Henderson, who I saw earlier playing for Oakland earlier in the year, started in left field for the Blue Jays. Ken Griffey Jr. hit a solo home run, his 34th of the year, for the Mariners.

Attendance was 50,519, including me and my dad. We got to the game right around first pitch because my father didn't realize he'd need my birth certificate to get me into Canada before we got to Newark Airport. We went to CN Tower the following day.

8/21/93: Seattle Mariners 5, Toronto Blue Jays 2 stub
