New Years Day Football returned to the Famed Cotton Bowl Arena this New Years Day, and matched Texas Tech Red Raiders (Big XII) against a hard-fighting Northwesten Wildcats (Big Ten).
Originally billed as "The Dallas Football Classic" Randy Cohan of ticketcity.com in Austin managed to gain the naming rights, and helped to create a magnificant and memiorable bowl experience for the City of Dallas.
